I've had Instant Ink since I bought my Envy 4527 printer. Information technology seems a good thing, but then my cartridge stopped communicating and stopped working. I've tried everything suggested but get no joy. I was sent a new cartridge which has besides stopped working. Contacts are no good. I simply need a new cartridge just can find no way of getting one. Then, I'g going to take to abolish this program and purchase my own from a shop. Unless I get some help from HP Instant Ink

What an atrocious visitor
What an atrocious company. They increase the charges by £1 per month for l pages, and then when I downgrade I lost my 150 rollover pages. I wasn't warned of this, Then they are charging me for extra pages for going over 15 pages.
FREE Communication. Avoid HP Instant Ink. Customer service is dull and condescending.
As well, I noticed when I had put a new cartridges in, they would never send me a replacement, I had to contact them on Facebook several times.
I am but going to stick with my sometime USB plugin light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation printer. Who cares about wireless printing.

Existent shame, terrible service
Real shame. I liked non having to order ink considering I hardly utilize my printer. A year after and my printer is having problems with the ink cartridge. It says color is empty but instant ink says its nonetheless got ink. Contacted customer service and he said printer isn't connected. Managed to get connected and he asked me to try some stuff. Nevertheless couldn't get to work. New ink would most likely solve this issue. He and then asked me to go to setting and printing network configuration and I should get a printed copy. Of grade I tried this and funnily plenty, it wouldn't print the network configuration. 🙄 makes yous wonder how many brain cells the person has who I was what's apping for over a hour. Afterward a long silence I asked if He had whatsoever other ideas. I then get a automated respond waiting for next amanuensis. 🤣 he dumped me and didn't even say and so. I then decided I would effort adding the printer again on to my instant ink account. I then found that my printer can't be used whatsoever more than to that service apparently. Perhaps this is my outcome. Terrible customer care and I never got to effort out a easy switch of ink.
So tbh information technology beingness cheaper to take this service it is certainly not worth it. Cancelling my service and buying my ink once again seems to be the way to go.

Utter ripoff
Utter ripoff. The minute yous terminate subscribing (because they accuse you lot for pages over your monthly limit even when your cartridges are full) they disable your printer. I have fluctuating print needs and cant predict what i'll need to print and am loathe to pay over the odds 'just in example'. It's not articulate in their marketing material that its a pay-per-page plan as they say in their robotic response to all the other complaints here - clearly cutting and paste responses which merely about sums them up. I am never buying HP again. Ever. I feel utterly ripped off.

Thank you for your feedback. Instant Ink is a subscription press program, non a cartridge purchasing service. Many page plans are bachelor to suit whatever level of printing, so your folio plan can be adjusted as your press needs alter.
If y'all abolish, the Instant Ink cartridges will terminate working at the end of your final billing wheel, and you lot volition be billed for your last payment. At that time, you can insert shop-bought HP cartridges from your preferred retailer in society to proceed press. The printer itself is unaffected by the subscription cancellation but, if notwithstanding installed, the Instant Ink subscription cartridges will not function.

A subscription service riddled with problems and poor support, faulty cartridges and software resulting in the ink app not recognising when ink levels are low, no new ink arrives when it's needed and you go charged into the deal for misprinted sheets!
Back up when you need it isn't there. Don't even consider instant ink.
